The Faces of Haiti

Below are the faces of the children from the Good Samaritan Orphanage in Fort Liberte’ Haiti. These children are so happy with everything that they have, despite the fact that they have so little. They almost are never without a smile on their faces despite the backgrounds and hardships they endured. They are truly inspirational. If you are interested in sponsoring a child or possibly making a contribution to the orphanage, please visit The Starfish Foundation.

Rose Mica Mompremier: Rose is one of four from her family at the orphanage. They are all very polite and responsible. Macsene Joseph: Macsene was living in Port Au Prince with his family at the time of the January 2010 earthquake. His family lost everything. His parents left their children with an aunt who was unable to provide for them. While the information we have does not say so, we imagine the parents went to the Domincan Republic for work and won’t be coming back. This is common.
